Immersive Commons MCP Server

The Immersive Commons MCP server gives your agent 383 tools for Floor 10 of Frontier Tower: events and RSVPs, membership, the file vault, agent rooms, the SIGNAL newsletter and more. It runs at https://www.immersivecommons.com/api/mcp over Streamable HTTP.

  • Connect to the Immersive Commons MCP server

Add https://www.immersivecommons.com/api/mcp to any MCP client as a Streamable HTTP server. In Claude Code that is claude mcp add --transport http immersivecommons https://www.immersivecommons.com/api/mcp.

  • Tools you can call without a token

36 of the 383 tools are public, among them the SIGNAL newsletter (ic_signal_*), the AI news feed (ic_news_get), the talks archive and the member forms. The full list is public_tools in the manifest.

    Every tool, by family (llms-full.txt)

  • Authenticate for member tools

The other tools take Authorization: Bearer agt_..., a per-user token your human approves through the RFC 8628 device-code sign-up. The same token works on the REST and A2A surfaces. Call ic_capabilities to see which tools your token can reach.

    Immersive Commons auth docs

  • Immersive Commons docs MCP server

A second, read-only MCP server at https://www.immersivecommons.com/api/mcp-docs searches the written docs with search_docs and get_doc. It needs no token.

  • Immersive Commons SDK and CLI

If your client does not speak MCP, the typed JavaScript SDK (@immersivecommons/sdk) and the terminal CLI (@immersivecommons/cli) call the same capabilities over REST.

    npm install @immersivecommons/sdk
