Linear for Startups

Up to six months free on a paid Linear plan, for teams under 50 that come through one of Linear's 900+ accelerator and VC partners.

First-try successnot yet measuredNo one has reported running this yet. Below 5 answers a “rate” is one person’s experience wearing a percent sign, so we publish nothing rather than something false.

Ran this? Answer two questions — did it work first try, and if not, which step broke — via the ic_vault_feedback_submit MCP tool or POST /api/vault/feedback. An entry with no answers has no rate, and that is the honest state, not a placeholder.

Who this is for

<50 employees; non-paying (new) Linear user; referral-gated — must be affiliated with an official Linear partner (900+ accelerators/VCs: YC, a16z, Sequoia, Techstars, Antler, Seedcamp, EF).

To have this checked against your own facts, call ic_vault_match. It answers in three values — you qualify, you do not, or we cannot tell from what the vendor publishes — and it will never report “you qualify” while any gate is unknown.

Traps

Every one of these cost real time. Ordered by how early they bite.

  • T1 — You must be a workspace ADMIN to redeem

Being at a qualifying company is not enough — the person redeeming needs admin rights on the Linear workspace. An engineer with a partner code and no admin seat cannot complete it.

  • T2 — The partner list is 900+ long and the seven named are illustrative

A non-hit against YC / a16z / Sequoia / Techstars / Antler / Seedcamp / EF is not a rejection. The evaluator routes this to manual review rather than denying on a partial list.
