Twilio (+ SendGrid)

There is no standing credit program. The only route is the annual AI Startup Searchlight competition, which closes 11 September 2026 and names honorees in mid-to-late November.

First-try successnot yet measuredNo one has reported running this yet. Below 5 answers a “rate” is one person’s experience wearing a percent sign, so we publish nothing rather than something false.

Ran this? Answer two questions — did it work first try, and if not, which step broke — via the ic_vault_feedback_submit MCP tool or POST /api/vault/feedback. An entry with no answers has no rate, and that is the honest state, not a placeholder.

Before you start

Each must be true before the step that names it. Nothing here is optional.

  • An active Twilio account with a working product integrated — The competition judges a working Twilio integration — there is no entry without one.

Offers

2 distinct offers under one brand name, each behind its own gate.

Who this is for

Working product integrated with Twilio; raised <$200M; active Twilio account. Deadline Fri Sep 11, 2026; winners mid-late Nov 2026.

To have this checked against your own facts, call ic_vault_match. It answers in three values — you qualify, you do not, or we cannot tell from what the vendor publishes — and it will never report “you qualify” while any gate is unknown.

Traps

Every one of these cost real time. Ordered by how early they bite.

  • T1 — SendGrid has NO standalone startup credit program

It was folded into Twilio. Do not promise a founder SendGrid-specific credits — they do not exist.

  • T2 — This is a competition with honorees, not a program with acceptances

Track 1 has 10 honorees and Track 2 has 20. Applying is not a path to credits the way an application-gated program is — most entrants get nothing. The entry is kept live rather than marked dead because the Searchlight offer is real, dated and obtainable.

  • T3 — The Ramp and OpenAI components are other vendors' awards

`max_usd` is the Twilio credit only ($5,000 Track 1, $10,000 Track 2). The bundled Ramp and OpenAI credits are named in each tier's summary and are not summed into a total.
